security matters
?
1. When the load current is higher than 5A, a radiator must be used or installed on a metal base plate with corresponding heat dissipation effect. Thermal silicone grease should be applied between the solid state relay heat dissipation base plate and the mounting surface. Above 40A, a fan should be used for forced cooling or water cooling.
2. When used with inductive loads, high transient voltages and surge currents are applied to the output end, which may cause the solid-state relay to mislead or be damaged. It is usually necessary to connect a voltage control device with a specific clamping voltage to the output end, such as a bidirectional relay. Zener diode or varistor (MOV). It is recommended that the varistor be 1.6-1.9 times the rated voltage.
3. When controlling a smaller load current load close to the minimum load current, a virtual load resistor must be connected in parallel to the load to reduce the output leakage current and produce a higher residual voltage on the load.
4. In order to prevent the temperature rise of solid-state relays from exceeding the allowable value, the heat dissipation effect and installation location should be considered when designing and applying. When two or more solid-state relays are installed side by side, appropriate spacing should be left.
5. The output terminals of multiple solid-state relays must not be used in parallel in an attempt to increase the output current. However, the output terminals can be used in series to accommodate higher operating voltages.
6. When using multiple solid-state relays to share a control power supply, the input terminals can be used in series or in parallel.
7. Please use this piece with caution for capacitive loads. Please choose a solid-state relay dedicated for capacitive loads.
