Module selection and precautions
?
1. Depending on the load power, different current margins should be selected. The greater the power, the greater the current margin. Generally, the current capacity of the rectifier solid-state relay is 2-4 times the load current.
2. The input and output terminals should be equipped with overvoltage and overcurrent protection measures. a. Overvoltage protection: The output end is connected in parallel with a freewheeling diode or varistor (when using 240V voltage, choose 470-500V, when using 440V voltage, choose 680-750V, when using 660V voltage, choose 1100-1200V) ; b. Overcurrent protection: The main circuit is connected in series with a quick disconnect switch or a quick fuse, and the value is 1.5 times the actual load current.
3. Heat dissipation requirements: Depending on the current size, working mode, and environmental conditions of the selected rectifier solid-state relay, a corresponding equivalent radiator should be configured, and a fan or water cooling should be used for temperatures above 40A.
4. Installation method: It is required that the contact between the product and the radiator must be flat and smooth, and a layer of thermally conductive silicone grease should be applied between the contact surfaces. Finally, the screws with flat washers and spring rings should be symmetrically tightened and fixed.
